eBay Payment scam

This one almost got me, as I had done some purchasing on eBay, though not at this amount. Looking at the links they want you to click on is a key to figuring out these scams. Hold your mouse over the link and you should see the link. If it is long like this:
www.aol.com/ams/clickThruRedirect.adp?1073762100,
2147779757x2147568413,http://www.austromex.com.mx/~caxpe/
redirect.to/www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscrcmd=_login-submit/
Paypal.dllSignInpUserId=co=partnerId=siteid=0pageType=1pa=
UsingSSL_1bhowgif_favoritnav_errmsg/index.html

Considering this "came" from eBay, why would it have an AOL address.

Ebay user fake

I received an official looking email "from" ebay today with the following text:
Dear armadefoc,

OK as....., i will to report you to ebay for this, 2 months have passed and yet no word from you, this is my final warning, you either respond and let me know the status or simply support the consequences for your action. Bye.

First, I'm not armadefoc. Second, I haven't purchased anything from ebay in a long time.

Be careful.
